SPORTS
As we have seen the sports in Cambodia grows rapidly, UME sets up many programs of sports in order to participate with the Royal Cambodian Government to uplift the nation’s fame. Sport will bring the players to live better and have firm strength. On the other hand, H.E Tun Peakdey always support and motivate every sport champion such as: football, volleyball, basketball, and other athletics.
Every championship,   the students always bring their success, rewards and medals to UME.

Mission

Is committed to enhancing and enriching the human resource with English Language in order to strengthen four basic skills which rely on good qualification of Lecturers, curriculum, physical materials and compulsory discipline.

Student Affairs

Student Affairs and Alumni Division was established in October, 2008, led by the Deputy Vice President (Student Affairs and Alumni). It acts as an intermediary between students and the administration. It started in 1998 as the Centre for Student Development. The restructuring of the organisation took place in 2008 in line with the formation of the position of Deputy Vice President (Student Affairs and Alumni). Consequently, the Centre for Student Development became 2 separate bodies namely Student Affairs and Alumni Division and Centre for Student Development.
Student Affairs and Alumni Division is responsible in providing various services and facilities for students such as accommodation, cultural and sports facilities, health services and financial support. It is also responsible in creating conducive environment to facilitate student learning.

Mission
Department of Foundation Year at University of Management and Economics in Battambang is committed to increasing the number of the students enrolled  and admission annually in order to provide the basic knowledge to  analysis and evaluate fairly for option specialized skill through strengthening discipline and morale to receive a certificate of foundation for Year Two.

Objectives
  • Encourage and strengthen the quality of education
  • Strengthen the quality of teachers and staff’s capacity
  • Improve the Foundation Year’s curriculum Encourage the cooperation and study services
